ISO 45001 Certification | Safety Management System

OHSAS 18001 is being replaced by ISO 45001, which has been developed by ISO – International Organization for Standardization, and follows the common framework of other generic management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, to allow for easy integration with other standards.

This new standard allows for potential improvements in various areas which include but are not limited to employee safety, hierarchy of controls, safer working conditions, managing legal compliance together with employee consultation and participation.

Do you provide consultancy?

As a certification company we're not allowed to because there would be a conflict of interest if we were to certify the work we had done for you. We can however put you in touch with consultants that have previously worked successfully with our clients.

I have an integrated system certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. How can ISO 45001 be used with other management systems?

ISO's common framework (the aforementioned HLS) for management system standards was deliberately developed to facilitate the integration of new management topics into an organization’s existing management systems. For example, ISO 45001 is based fairly closely on ISO 14001 as we are aware that many organizations combine their OH&S and environmental functions internally.

Will you do everything for us?

As it's your organisation, it's important for you to run the project. We are the ISO certification company, which means that we confirm, on behalf of ISO, that your business conforms to the particular standard and when it does, issue your certificate.
